PRE-ENROLLMENT APPLICATION
We are now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year.
LOTTERY
The Biome will conduct a random lottery if more pre-enrollment applications are received than available seats. Selected families will receive a placement notification and must accept the seat within ten days of notification. Any students not accepted through the lottery will be placed in our wait pool and will rollover into the next lottery if seats are available

COMPLETE YOUR LEARNER’S REGISTRATION
Upon accepting your child’s seat, we will guide you through the New Student Registration. Please note you will need the following documents to complete the registration:
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Proof of Residency (utility bill, mortgage or lease agreement, residency affidavit)
- Immunization records

- Your child’s journey begins by attending the New Family Open House.
- You will receive a link to the registration application and additional essential documents. Enrollment is not considered complete until the registration application is submitted along with the following documents.

- Please save 474-747 to your cell phone as The Biome School. You will receive text messages related to the enrollment process and appointment reminders.
- Admission to The Biome does not guarantee placement in the selected grade. Once a learner is officially enrolled, s/he will complete a brief readiness assessment to help our educators prepare to meet the learner’s academic needs and to ensure the proper grade placement.

The 5th grade Micro School program, in collaboration with the Missouri State Parks, delves into the intricacies of energy flow in natural systems. Our journey takes us to the Bottomland Forest at Big Oak Tree State Park, where we will gain a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of energy and natural resources, presented by Nathan Todt.
Hummus is yummus!
Coach Evans hosted a cooking class in 5th grade Mind and Movement. Students learned about nutrition and identifying healthy snacks. They created their very own “Fish On A Stream” with hummus, celery, and goldfish. Afterwards students discussed their likes/dislikes and other healthy snack options.

The Biome School is a K-5, tuition-free, and public charter school.
