Important Dates and Information
Our 2026/27 school year starts Tuesday, August 18th. We are excited to welcome all families, new and returning, to the new year. Please see the important information below to ensure you have everything you need to begin the year.

School start and end times – Our instructional hours will be (8:00 am-3:00 pm).
- Partner in Learning (Building Student Success), Wednesday, August 5th (5:00-6:00 pm). This meeting is required. Come to learn about academic and behavior expectations, promotion, and academic honors criteria. The meeting will be held in person and via Zoom. No child care will be provided. MEETING LINK
- Meet the Teacher (Block Party), Thursday, August 13th (3:00 pm-6:00 pm). Come meet your teachers and fellow members of The Biome Community. School supplies should be brought on this day. (See school supply link below)
Communication
To ensure you receive timely Biome communications, please keep us informed of any changes to your cell number and/or email address, as the school office frequently uses text messaging and email, via ParentSquare, for schoolwide communications. Please know that most of our communications will be shared electronically, so it is important that you keep your contact information current to ensure prompt access to all Biome updates.
Changes can be sent via email to the Main Office.

Acknowledgement of Receipt of the 2025-26 Family Handbook Our handbook has been prepared to strengthen the partnership among learners, parents, guardians, and the school. Questions regarding policies and procedures should be directed to the Principal and Instructional Leader. The Biome reserves the right to modify this handbook during the school year as circumstances may dictate. Please read and discuss the information contained in the handbook with your learner(s) SIGNING BELOW INDICATES that you and your learner(s) understand the policies set forth by The Biome.
